From Jerry Crasnick:
The Cubs are very interested in Mike Cameron, but there'll be nothing doing on that front until they can trade that Milton Bradley guy.

Ryan Church was DFA'd today. He'd be a really nice pickup for 4th outfielder.

Sun-Times this morning . . . Cubs getting close to unloading Milton The first day of the rest of the Cubs' lives without Milton Bradley appeared on the horizon Tuesday with multiple sources saying the Cubs were close to a deal to send Bradley to an unidentified American League team.
One source said the two-team deal was ''three-quarters'' done by late in the day Tuesday and involved the Cubs receiving another heavy-contract player, who would then be flipped to a third team.
The source would not reveal the ''surprise'' team but eliminated Tampa Bay and Texas as destination teams after weeks of that pair being linked to Bradley and the Cubs closer than any others.www.suntimes.com/sports/baseball/cubs/1928724,CST-SPT-cub09.article

The one thing when these "mystery" teams get involved, the rumors almost always turn out to be total BS. After all, in today's information age, "mystery" teams shouldn't stay a "mystery" for very long. I get the feeling Hendry is borrowing a page from Scott Boras in trying to build a market for Bradley when one isn't there.
We'll see how this works out, though.

Positives to the start of the season:
Starting pitching looks good, Relief pitching outside of Marmol has mostly been good, Castro, Castillo, and Rizzo look good, and Nate Schierholtz looks like a nice find.
And of course, taking 2 of 3 on the road to open the season.
Negatives to start the season:
Carlos Marmol, #7 and #8 spots in the lineup, Carlos Marmol, Brett Lillibridge, Carlos Marmol, and Sveum sticking with Carlos Marmol as the closer.

Still wondering about Schierholtz. And David Dejeuss STILL isn't an every day CF in the NL.
Feldman WILL get shelled tonight.
Another negitive - the Cubs lineup in the second game.
