With Pence 1st inning double he is now 7 for 10 in this series. It's time somebody put a FB in the SOB's ear.

I'm more frustrated with Quintero. The Cubs just keep grooving pitches to him, even though he's proven in his major league career that he (1) won't take a walk, and (2) can't hit anything out of the strikezone. But they just keep throwing him strikes.

It's too bad the Cubs are wasting Geo's excellent play right now. He's now 14 for his last 27.

I am sure tired of the WC BS. What a crappy IT organization they must have to be down this often and this long.

The great Randy Wolf is dominating the Cubs through 4 innings.

3-0 Astros. With the way the Cubs offense looks tonight, that might be enough.

Man, Zambrano hurt, Harden skipping a start, Dempster relatively ineffective two times in a row, hitting doing nothing...I feel a lot less confident about the Cubs chances in the postseason than I did a week ago.

Dempster is very good at sacrifice bunting.

At least Milwaukee has lost so we don't lose any games in our our lead. But we sure passed up a chance to build a better lead.

Geez, what a disaster this team is turning into all of a sudden. Cedeno thrown out at the plate.

What has happened to this team? They are a complete and total mess. 5 losses in a row, and the last win was basically a gift from MLB's inept umpires. A week ago, they looked invincible. Now, they look as bad as they did under lame duck Dusty.

The most important issues are Z and Harden. The offense is in one of those inevitable troughs and will presumably right itself. But the starting pitching must be solid for us to have any chance for postseason success. And it's hard to see that happening without Z and Harden being healthy.

And now it's looking like Z maybe out for the season..

Well you know you're starting to struggle when Randy Wolf throws a complete game shutout at you.

rag arm lefties kill this team every time.
Lee a singles hitter. Ramirez is so uninterested in playing right now.
